This package enables or updates the audio function of the following ThinkPad computers: - ThinkPad 570 To determine if you have to update the audio driver or not, please refer to the "Summary of Changes" section. To update the audio driver, please refer to the "Installation Guide" section. Start Windows NT 4.0. 2. Logon with administrative privilege. 3. Extract the drivers onto the hard disk. 4. Click on Start -> Settings -> Control Panel. 5. Double-click on the Multimedia icon in the Control panel. The Multimedia Properties window appears. 6. Click on the Devices tab and then on the Add button. 7. Select Unlisted or Updated Drivers, and press OK button. 8. A dialog box appears and prompting for the path of the drivers to be installed. Enter in the location you extracted the files to and click on the "OK" button. Default path is C:\DRIVERS\WNT\AUDIO\ 10. In the driver list window that appears, select the SoundFusion(TM) Audio device and click on OK. Windows NT may report that the driver files are already present in the system. In this case, select Audio Devices -> Audio for SoundFusion(TM) and press Remove button. Press Yes, Restart Now to restart system and repeat the installation instructions given above. 11. When installation program prompt you, restart Windows NT to make the change effective.
