What This Diskette Does
-----------------------
This package provides the Modem driver for DOS users.
The Modem driver enables or updates the Modem function of the following
ThinkPad computers:

   - ThinkPad 390E

To determine if you have to update the Modem driver or not, please refer
to the "Summary of Changes" section.

To update the Modem driver, please refer to the "Installation Guide"
section.

Installation Guide
------------------
(Note)
To determine if you have to update the Modem driver or not, please refer
to the "Summary of Changes" section.

HOW TO INSTALL:

 1. Make sure there are the following statements in the CONFIG.SYS file.

        Device=[Path\]HIMEM.SYS
        Device=[Path\]EMM386.EXE

         [Path\]: The location of HIMEM.SYS and EMM386.EXE
         (Caution:  The DOS modem will not work if the NOEMS switch is 
         present on the EMM386 line.)

 2.  Start DOS.
 3.  Running LTTSR.EXE under DOS prompt.

Note: Type LTTSR /un to remove driver from memory.
