The following models are supported: Windows 95: - ThinkPad 770, 770E, 770ED, 770X, 770Z Windows 98 - ThinkPad 770, 770E, 770ED - Do NOT use for 770X, 770Z. For these systems use MPTPCW98.EXE. NOTE: This drivers should only be used if you are using Mediamatics DVDExpress application to play DVD movies. If you are using the SoftDVD application to play DVD movies, DO NOT install this drivers. To determine whether you have to update the program, refer to "Summary of Changed and Fixed Items." To update the program, refer to the "Installation Guide." Released Version ---------------- Version 1.00 New model support 1.10 Fixes for some problems 1.20 Fixes for some problems Summary of Change ----------------- Key: Program version (for example, 1.00 means Version 1.00) (New) New function or enhancement (Fix) Correction to existing function <1.00> - (New) Support for ThinkPad 770/770E/770ED/770X. <1.10> - (New) Support for ThinkPad 770Z. - (Fix) Capture driver does not work after Suspend/Resume. - (Fix) Noise from system speaker when digital audio out is enabled. <1.20> - (Fix) Intermittent macro block noise during DVD-Video playback Installation Guide ------------------ Note: - Use this driver only for the ThinkPad 770, 770E, 770ED, 770X, 770Z. - Windows 95 version must be OSR2 or later. - Before installing, make sure that you have installed the following software in the computer: - Video Features IV for Windows 95/98 - Audio Features for Windows 95/98 - DVDExpress Player for Windows 95/98 - This driver will now automatically extract to your hard drive. It will only extract under Windows 95/98 and Windows NT. The extraction process will NOT work with any other operating system. 1. Make sure that your system has the DVD and Enhanced Video Adapter installed in the system. 2. Start Windows 95/98. 3. Extract the drivers onto the hard disk. 4. Click on Start -> Run... 5. Type in "C:\DRIVERS\W9X\MPEG\SETUP.EXE". Then click on OK. 6. During startup, the New Hardware Found dialog box appears. 7.
