The PC Card Program Diskette for DOS enables or updates the PC Card 
function of the following ThinkPad computers:

   - ThinkPad 310, 310D, 310E, 310ED

Installation Guide
------------------

< DOS >

  If you have installed previous version of PC Card driver, you have to remove it
  before update the new version. Please follow the steps below to Deinstall it. 
  Otherwise, follow Install steps below to install PC Card driver.
 
  Deinstall :
  1) Type CD \ and press Enter.
  2) Type CD PCM4 and press Enter.
  3) Type DEINST and press Enter to deinstall previous driver.
  4) Follow the instruction on the screen to complete Deinstall.
    
  Install :
  1) Type CD \ and press Enter.
  2) Type E CONFIG.SYS and press Enter.
  3) Add one line after the statement "DEVICE=C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS" in the CONFIG.SYS file as below.
       DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE NOEMS
  4) Press F4 to save and exit.
  5) Reboot the system.
  6) After boot up, insert the PC Card Program Diskette for DOS into the diskette drive.
  7) Type A: and press Enter.
  8) Type INSTALL and press Enter to install driver.
  9) Follow the instruction on the screen to complete install.
