What This Package Does

This package provides a command line utility which enables the hardware/
software features built in ThinkPad.  There are the following functional
areas/categories which the utility addresses:

  - Power Management
  - Built-in Device Configuration
  - Display Device Controls

This package enables or updates the utility programs of the following
ThinkPad computer:

  - ThinkPad 390X

To determine if you have to update the utility programs or not, please
refer to the "Summary of Changes" section.

To update the utility programs, please refer to the "Installation Guide"
section.

Installation Guide
------------------

To determine if you have to update the utility programs or not, please
refer to the "Summary of Changes" section.


 1. Start the Operating System.
 2. Insert the DOS Utilty diskette into the diskette drive.
 3. At a DOS command prompt, type "A:INSTALL.EXE" and press Enter.
 4. Follow the instructions on the screen.


Silent installation:
    Use 'INSTALL.EXE -S' command at the step 3.
