The Warm Swap driver enables or updates the UltraBay FX Warm Swap function of the following ThinkPad computers: - ThinkPad 390, 390E - ThinkPad i Series 1720/1721 To determine if you have to update the Warm Swap driver or not, please refer to the "Summary of Changes" section. Installation Guide ------------------ To determine if you have to update the Warm Swap driver or not, please refer to the "Summary of Changes" section. NOTE: Before installing, you must remove any real-mode drivers such as MSCDEX and related drivers from the CONFIG.SYS. 1. Start Windows 95/98. 2. Extract the Warm Swap drivers to the hard drive. 3. Click on 'Start' -> 'Programs' -> 'Agate Tioman' -> 'Uninstall Agate Tioman' and follow the directions. When prompted, restart the system. 4. Click on 'Start' -> 'Run...'. 5. Type "C:\DRIVERS\W9X\SWAP\SETUP.EXE" in the dialg box and press 'OK'. 6. Follow the instructions on the screen.
