What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the display driver for Windows 3.1 users.
This package enables or updates the display function of the following
ThinkPad computers:
  - ThinkPad 380Z
  - ThinkPad 600E

To determine if you have to update the display driver or not, please
refer to the "Summary of Changes" section.

To update the display driver, please refer to the "Installation Guide"
section.

Installation Guide
------------------
<Preparation>
(To extract the drivers, follow these procedures:)
  1. Download VFTPRW31.EXE to your hard drive and run it.
     This is a self-extracting ZIP containing the following files:
        -INSTALVI.BAT
        -LICENSE.TXT
        -VFTPW31.SXZ
        -VFTPDW31.TXT

  2. Run INSTALVI.BAT to place all the data files on your system.
     Default path is C:\DRIVERS\W31\VIDEO\
     NOTE: THIS ONLY COMPLETES THE EXTRACTION PROCESS. To install
     the driver, follow the instructions below.

<Installation>
 1. Boot to DOS and go to the Windows directory (usually C:\>WINDOWS).
 2. Type Setup and press Enter.
 3. Using the cursor-moving keys, highlight the Display field and press
    Enter.
 4. Scroll down to the bottom and select "Other (Requires disk...)" in
    the list.
 5. Specify the display driver location.  Then press Enter.
    Default path is C:\DRIVERS\W31\VIDEO\
 6. Select a preferred display resolution, color depth, and font size.
    Then press Enter.
 7. Follow the instructions on the screen.
