lp382f - Fonts for use with lp3820 HP-PCL and 4019 PPDS modes (C) Copyright IBM Corp, 1990, 1993 Ken Borgendale - IBM Boca Raton Version 2.2d - 12 April 1993 These fonts give a basic set of Times, Helvetica, and Letter Gothic fonts for use with lp3820 on printers which do not support scalable fonts. These fonts are needed when running lp3820 in HP-PCL or 4019 PPDS modes. They are not needed when running lp3820 in PostScript or 4029 PPDS modes. The package is 880K compressed, and expands to 1.3Mb. To use with lp3820 these must be either in your PATH, or in a subdirectory pointed to by the LP3820 environment variable. The fonts are in a compressed PPDS (IBM LaserPrinter) format. You can expand these to normal PPDS mode fonts by using the lp3820 -x function which is part of the lp3820 package.
