IBM Netfinity SP Switch VPD Update Utility Version 1.00 This README file contains information pertaining to using the VPDWRITE utility to modify VPD on the IBM Netfinity SP Switch. This utility, after it is downloaded to a Netfinity 7000 M10 server, will allow the user to retrieve a list of IBM Netfinity SP Switch devices that are attached to the local RS 485 bus. The user will be able to select a device from the list of retrieved devices. Atfer the user has selected a device to modify, the user will be able to write and read the box serial number in the power backplane of the IBM Netfinity SP Switch.
