Based on the award-winning and overwhelmingly popular F-19 STEALTH FIGHTER, F-117A will thrill computer pilots with its improvements and new features. "Three years after its release, F-19 is still a state-of-the-art product that continues to sell out in stores," said Bill Stealey, president and co-founder of MicroProse. "F-117A will push that technology even further." Players will fly in nine worlds, including three new ones _ Columbia/Panama, Northern Japan and Iraq _ with improved versions of all the existing worlds in the original F-19 STEALTH FIGHTER and F-15 STRIKE EAGLE. An improved mission generation system will challenge even the most skilled computer pilot with new exciting missions that will contain improved enemy artificial intelligence. F-117A's graphic enhancements will be among the most advanced on the market. Enhancements will include a new, more realistic cockpit and in-plane graphics. Spectacular night graphics with special night HUD features, sprite explosions and smoke along with cluster bomb explosions will intensify the game's visual appeal. VGA graphics will also have graduated horizons, landscapes, and seascapes. F-117A NIGHTHAWK will be released for IBM-compatibles and will require 512K of RAM. It will support EGA, Tandy 16-color graphics, and 256-color VGA. The game will support AdLib, Roland, SoundBlaster, Tandy and IBM sounds as well as joystick and keyboard interface.
