DESCRIPTION: This Compaq Windows Display Support release provides display drivers to support Compaq QVision display controller hardware features when used with Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher.  This software will NOT support the QVision 2000 controller. CPQSETUP detects the hardware currently installed in your system and allows you to select the features you wish to install.  Features supported by the files in this release are:

- Compaq Windows Display Drivers
- Compaq Windows Display Driver Autoloader

The Display Drivers provide enhanced support for Compaq display controllers.

HOW TO USE:  

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP0912.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP0912 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP0912.EXE if you wish.

5.  To obtain information on upgrading your Windows display drivers, run the README.COM program off of the first diskette.
