What's New on NT SSD 1.13
-------------------------
This release of the Compaq Support Software Diskette for Windows NT 3.5  (NT SSD) contains the following new features\maintenance modifications.

Compaq 32-Bit SCSI-2 Controllers Support:
-  Corrected the maximum transfer length reported to Windows NT.
-  Fixed problem where processing certain IOCTL_SCSI_PASS_THROUGH and      IOCTL_SCSI_PASS_THROUGH_DIRECT device I/O control calls would cause the system to blue screen.

Compaq Systems Management Support:
-  Health driver enhancement to filter out incorrect fan and temperature events, which were causing systems to shutdown.

Compaq Drive Array Support:
-  Fixed SCSI inquiry string reporting.  Compaq disk array incorrectly displayed under ARCServe for NT.

Compaq Video Support:
-  Fixed problem where Control Panel was reporting incorrect video memory size.

 Compaq Integrated NetFlex Support:
-  Fixed problem where an address glitch inside the chip would cause clients to drop and a server hang.
-  Fixed boot problem during NT installation over the network.  The installation required cold booting after NT had been installed.

HOW TO USE:  

1.  After downloading the SoftPaq, copy it to an empty directory and change to that directory. 

If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an executable:  PKUNZIP SP1028

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file to unbind the primary files:  SP1028 [ENTER]

The following files should be created: 

QRST5.EXE
181501-B.DOC
181501-B._01
SP1028.DOC

3.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

4.  To create the diskette and install the software, refer to SP1028.DOC and 181501-B.DOC.
