The scenario being reported is that the phone rings, the Compaq Operator appears to say that there is an incoming call, and then there is a GPF in OPERATOR.EXE followed by an EMM386 exception error. HOW TO USE: 1. After downloading the SoftPaq, copy it to an empty directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an executable: PKUNZIP SP1142 2. From that drive and directory, run the SoftPaq utility to unbind the primary files: SP1044 The following files should be created: SP1044.DOC CAPI2.DLL 3.
