DESCRIPTION:  This maintenance release version 1.22 provides display driver support for the Windows 3.1x operating systems on selected Deskpro and ProLinea systems using the Compaq/CL5434 Graphics Controller. PLEASE NOTE that this version of the video driver does NOT support the Compaq Presario.  The following issues are corrected in this release:

- Cursor was corrupted when 2MB memory module was added
- A red rectangular area was left as residue when deleting text
- Left border of the page was increasing slightly in width
- Cark grey caused the cursor to disappear in Paintbrush
- Palete corruption occurred using OLE features
- OLE pix beecame invisible when sent to Write
- Clock colons changed to hyphens when clock was resized
- Norton Editor V2.0 displayed text in upper Ascii instead of lower Ascii
- Logitech Mouse 6.44 caused the 7th Guest to lock
- System hang occurred when rotating TIFF graphic in ECI Fax
- 256 color image in WordPerfect Draw 6.0 for windows filled with bands
- Mouse cursor temporarily froze in Audio Control applet
- The cursor was not visible in WinWord 6.0
- Vertical bars appeared in WordPerfect 5.2
- DDC Monitors were not in sync

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain two formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1153.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1153 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskettes into a diskette drive to create diskettes.

4.  After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1153.EXE if you wish.

5.  Please read all READMEs on the diskettes before installing this new driver.
