DESCRIPTION: Upgrade the modem ROM to version 1.03 for a SpeedPaq 192 PCMCIA Modem.   Modifications to the ROM include corrections for LAPM protocol modem connections which caused problems on CompuServe and WinFax Lite problems with old Motorola cellular flip phones.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1186.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1186 [ENTER]
    You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1186.EXE if you wish.

5.  Please view the README.1ST file on the diskette for instructions on how to use the ROMpaq.
