DESCRIPTION:  This softpaq will create the OS/2 Support Software Diskette for Compaq Version 2.04 Rev B.  For complete information on changes and enhancements to the OS/2 2.x Support Software diskette, see WHATSNEW.RDM on the generated diskette. 
New Features:
- Support for the 100VG and 100Base-TX modules for the Netflex-3/P and Netflex-3/E network controllers
- A new PROLIANT.PSD for IBM OS/2 SMP v2.11 and the Compaq Transaction Blaster Option
Updates:
- The Server Health drivers, CPQHLTH.SYS and CPQHLTH.EXE have been updated to support reporting EISA bus utilization and clearing degraded conditions via Compaq Insight Manager.
- The Netflex drivers, NETFLX.OS2 and NETFLX.DOS have been updated to correct a potential problem where the incorrect source address could be generated in transmitted frames.
- The 32-Bit SCSI-2 driver, CPQ53CX.ADD has been updated to correct a potential problem running 5MB/S SCSI devices.

HOW TO USE:  

1.  Download the SoftPaq to an empty directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an executable:  PKUNZIP SP1232

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:  SP1232 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
QRST5.EXE
182361US._01

3.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

4. To create the diskette, run QRST5 and follow the on-screen instructions.

5.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1165.EXE and the other files created on your hard drive if you wish.
