DESCRIPTION: This release provides updated system ROM images for the ProLiant 2000/4000, ProLiant 1500, and ProLiant 4500 Servers.  For other affected server products, this release provides system ROM images that remain the same as in the superseded SoftPaq.  The ROM versions, with changes from the previous SoftPaq where applicable, are shown below.

ProLiant 2000/4000  (ROM E10  06/14/95)
     - Fixes erratic errors in Redundant Server Option firmware.

ProLiant 1500  (ROM E12  06/14/95) 
     - Fixes erratic errors in Redundant Server Option firmware.
     - Fixes problem with Power-On Password being prompted for on warmboots (ROM should only prompt on cold boots).

ProLiant 4500  (ROM E14  06/14/95) 
     - Fixes erratic errors in Redundant Server Option firmware.

HOW TO USE:  

1.  Download the SoftPaq to an empty directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  If downloaded in zipped format (.ZIP), unzip the file to create an executable:  PKUNZIP SP1261

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:  SP1261 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
QRST5.EXE
ROMPAQ._01
README.TXT

3. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB 3.5 inch diskette.

4. Follow the instructions in README.TXT to create the diskette and upgrade the system ROM.
