DESCRIPTION:  This maintenance release version 1.23 provides display driver support for the Windows 3.1x operating systems on selected Deskpro, ProLinea and Presario systems using the Compaq/CL5434 Graphics Controller. This driver solves the WordPerfect problem of screen residue when modifying a graphic object,  and PowerPoint issue of part of the rubberband box being left behind when the box is deselected. 

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain two formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1317.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1317 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskettes into a diskette drive to create diskettes.

4.  After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1317.EXE if you wish.

5.  Please read all READMEs on the diskettes before installing this new driver.
