DESCRIPTION:  This creates a Support Software diskette containing  a collection of Vines 6.0 certified device drivers and utilities which provide support for Compaq Servers and Options.

HOW TO USE: 
1.  Obtain two formatted 1.44 MB diskettes.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1340.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1340 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
SP1340._01
SP1340._02
QRST5.EXE
SP1340.DOC

4.  Refer to SP1340.DOC for instructions on creating the diskettes using QRST5 and installing the software.   Insert the documentation diskette into drive A and perform one of the following to view online installation instructions:
- From a DOS prompt enter "a:\readme"
   or
- Boot the system with the diskette in drive A: 

5.  After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1340.EXE and the other files it created on your hard drive if you wish.
