DESCRIPTION:  The LAN Adapter SSD is a collection of VINES 6.0 (10) certified drivers for Compaq NICs.

Disk Controller Support:

     o  Rev 1.00: Compaq NetFlex-3 Controller driver 
             Compaq NetFlex-3/E (EISA) controller with TX and VG modules
             Compaq NetFlex-3/P (PCI)  controller with TX and VG modules

     o  Rev 1.00: Compaq NetFlex L ENET Controller driver 
             Integrated NetFlex-L ENET controller EISA based
             Integrated NetFlex-L ENET controller PCI based

HOW TO USE:

1. Obtain two formatted 1.44 MB diskettes.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1424.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1424 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
SP1424._01
SP1424._02
QRST5.EXE
SP1424.DOC

4.  To create the two diskettes using QRST5, refer to SP1424.DOC.

5.  After the diskettes are created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1424.EXE and the other created files if you wish.

6.  Insert the documentation diskette into drive A: and perform one of the following to view the installation instructions:
     From a DOS prompt enter "a:\readme"
          or
     Boot the system with the diskette in drive A:
