(i.e., units that shipped with MaxFax software) NOTE: This is NOT to be used with models that have 14.4Kbps modems as standard equipment. OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 95 SYSTEM CONFIGURATION: Windows 95 SUPERSEDES: SP1416 DESCRIPTION: This softpaq is for certain Presario products (see PRODUCTS AFFECTED above) that have been upgraded to Windows 95, but are unable to connect to the Microsoft Network. It includes an updated modem information file so that Windows 95 will properly recogize the modem. HOW TO USE: 1. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette. 2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is SP1437.EXE. 3. From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file by entering SP1437 from a DOS prompt, or double clicking on the SP1437 icon in the Windows 95 folder for that directory. You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the modem driver diskette. The diskette will contain the following files: MDMCPQ.INF INSTALL.INF README.DOC 4. After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1437.EXE if you wish. 5.
