DESCRIPTION:  This creates a diskette that allows a user to upgrade the System ROM on an international model of the LTE 5000 to a version P55C2 System ROM (26 Jan 1996).  This primarily adds Scandinavian language support to the P55C 1.02 Rev A System ROM released in SoftPaq SP1459.  A comprehensive list of release details can be found in the RELEASE.TXT file on the diskette created by this softpaq.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1526.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1526 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1526.EXE if you wish.

5.  Power down the computer.

6.  Place the newly created International Compaq LTE 5000 ROMPaq Diskette in Drive A: and power up the computer.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE SYSTEM WHILE PERFORMING THIS PROCEDURE!
