DESCRIPTION:  The LAN Adapter Support Software Diskettes (SSD) contain a collection of VINES 6.0 (10) certified drivers for Compaq NICs. This Softpaq creates two diskettes containing the drivers.

Disk Controller Support:

     o  Rev 1.01: Compaq NetFlex-3 Controller driver 
             Compaq NetFlex-3/E (EISA) controller with TX and VG modules
             Compaq NetFlex-3/P (PCI)  controller with TX and VG modules

     o  Rev 1.01: Compaq NetFlex L ENET Controller driver 
             Integrated NetFlex-L ENET controller EISA based
             Integrated NetFlex-L ENET controller PCI based

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain two formatted 1.44 MB diskettes.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1561.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP1561 [ENTER]
The following files should be created: 
    SP1561.DOC
    SP1561._01
    SP1561._02
    QRST5.EXE

4.  Refer to file SP1561.DOC for instructions on how to create the diskettes by running this command at the DOS prompt:
     QRST5 [ENTER]

5.  When the SSD diskettes have been created, insert the documentation diskette into drive A and perform one of the following to view the installation instructions:
     From a DOS prompt enter "a:\readme"
          or
     Boot the system with the diskette in drive a:
