DESCRIPTION:  This creates a diskette that allows a user to upgrade the System ROM on a Contura 420/430 to a 13 February 1996 System ROM.
Summary of Updates:
- Resolves IDE hard drive data loss errors which were occurring on a small number of Seagate 420MB drives.
- Changes the number of languages displayed on setup to modify the Japanese selection.
- Corrects problem reported when using Crypt Card.
- Fixes screen save that was not being set properly by Windows 95 power conservation utility.
- Modifies the card detect function to work properly with Hibernation.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1570.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1570 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1570.EXE if you wish.

5.  Power down the computer.

6.  Place the newly created Compaq Contura 420/430 ROMPaq Diskette in Drive A: and power up the computer.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE SYSTEM WHILE PERFORMING THIS PROCEDURE!
