DESCRIPTION:  This creates a diskette containing support for the CD-ROM/Floppy Swapping feature for the LTE 5000 Family under Windows NT 3.51.  This feature, also known as Standby/Suspend MultiBay Device Exchange, only applies to the notebook when the default is set to boot from the hard disk in theNotebook Hard Drive Bay and is not supported when docked in the expansion base.  When the system is turned on there can be a diskette drive, a CD-ROM drive, or a battery in the MultiBay, or the MultiBay can be empty.  After installing the support software in this SoftPaq, the user can press the Standby/Suspend button, remove the current MultiBay device and insert either a MultiBay CD-ROM or MultiBay Diskette Drive.  The user can then press the Standby/Suspend button again and resume operation, using the newly inserted MultiBay device.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain one formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1587.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1587 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1587.EXE if you wish.

5.  Refer to the README.TXT file on the diskette for installation instructions.
