DESCRIPTION:  Fixes a problem in SMRTSCSI.SYS which prevented the driver from supporting some mixed SMART and SMART-2 environments.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1628.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1628 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file SP1628.EXE if you wish.

5.  For further instructions on how to install a specific driver, insert the diskette in drive A:, type README from the a:> prompt, and follow the directions on the screen.
