DESCRIPTION:  Creates a diskette providing Windows 95 audio drivers for
the Compaq ESS 1868 Audio Controller used in the above referenced
Deskpro 4000/6000 models.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain one formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to
that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP1763.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP1763 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place a formatted 1.44 MB diskette into the
diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP1763.EXE if you wish.

5.  At this point, the Audio Support diskette has been created and
is ready to use for upgrading.

6.  Select My Computer/Control Panel/System/Device Manager.

7.  Remove any ESS audio drivers under "Sound Video and Game
Controllers" or "Other Devices".

8.  Restart the computer.

9.  With the Audio Card installed, Windows 95 should detect the new
plug and play device and prompt for the appropriate drivers.
Place the newly created driver diskette into the floppy drive
and `browse' to that diskette.

10. Follow the prompts to complete installation.
