DESCRIPTION:  Creates the ROMPaq Firmware Upgrade Diskette for ProLiant, 
which provides updated system ROM images for the Compaq ProLiant 1500 
and ProLiant 2000 servers.   The ROM images for other ProLiant models 
are also provided, but remain unchanged from superseded Softpaq SP2128.

Proliant 1500 (E12) -- Fixed a problem with fixed disk drive letters 
being re-assigned.  The 7/17/96 version of the E12 ROM provided BIOS 
support for all SCSI controllers and drives.  Systems that were 
previously configured with earlier ROMs that provided BIOS support for a 
single controller and two drives could (depending on OS and 
configuration) experience drive assignment re-ordering.  This release 
returns to the original method of providing BIOS support for a single 
controller and two drives.

E16 Proliant 2000 - Fixed a problem with setting Power on Password.  The 
8/26/96 version of the E16 ROM interacts with the System Configuration 
Utility to indicate that a Power on Password already exists when it does 
not.  This prevented the ability to enable a password, but is fixed in 
this release.

HOW TO USE:

1.   Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.   Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory. The file that is downloaded is SP2380.EXE.

3.   From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file: 
     SP2380 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a 
diskette drive to create the diskette.

4.   After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file 
SP2380.EXE if you wish.

5.   Refer to the README file(s) on the diskette for specific upgrade 
instructions and additional help.
