The WWW site has been moved to www.soundfont.com. This is still the
FTP site.

The files sndfont.xxx are a white paper describing the SoundFont 2.0 file 
format and thoughts and considerations put into its development.

The files sf2_00a.xxx are the current SoundFont 2.00 specification.  They 
each contain appropriate disclaimers; be sure to read and heed them.

If you download the documents, please do not edit and then redistribute 
them.  Also, please keep the file names intact.  Revision control will be hard 
enough as it is.

The specification has known errors (though none of significance) in the 
existing documents, so if you plan to make use of the SoundFont format, please 
be sure you keep yourself updated on the latest specification.
