This updater will create new Comanche: Maximum Overkill executables.  These
executables represent our efforts at addressing hardware compatibility
issues.  The notable fixes:

1) Sound Blaster on IRQ 7 would conflict some IDE controllers which generate
   spurious interrupts causing the game to hang.  Our fix allows the game to
   continue to play but with garbled sounds.  Our recommendation in this
   circumstance is to move the Sound Blaster's IRQ setting.
2) We are now compatible with Gravis's Ultra Sound in Sound Blaster
   emulation mode.  CMO requires the latest SBOS (check with Gravis.)
3) Workarounds for AMI keyboard BIOSes have been put in.
4) Support for Sound Blaster PRO's DMA channel select has been added.
5) Better IRQ support allows CMO to survive time hogging interrupts.

To update Comanche: Maximum Overkill,

1) Place the updater (CMO1BB.EXE) in the CMO directory.
2) Execute the updater (CMO1BB.EXE).

When done, the old EXE's will have a .OLD extension.  If you find the updater
made things worse (not expected to happen), you can revert to the old EXE's.
Be sure to run SOUNDSET to recover you desired sound settings.
