Topic: How to add a larger hard drive to 701C (2 of 2), Read 15 times Conf: ThinkPad [Early] 7XX Series [700-765] From: Bill Morrow (bill@thinkpads.com) Date: Saturday, September 09, 2000 10:43 PM Richard... the reporting function of the 701 bios was never designed to show more than 720meg.. thus anything oner 1gig is stripped off, so all you will see is the "change" over and above the "gig" boundry.. that drive SHOULD be fine.. make it all FAT32, then use pq magic to create a 43meg, FAT16, hibernate partition.. i put it up at the end of the drive... this is what i do and it all works out just dandy..
