TrackPoint Driver for Windows 2000

How To Install:

 1. Click on 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel'.
 2. Double-click on the "System" icon.
 3. Click on the "Hardware" tab at the top of the
    "System Properties" window.
 4. Click on the "Device Manager..." button.
 5. Double-click on the "Mice and other pointing devices".
 6. Double-click on either "IBM PS/2 TrackPoint" or
    "PS/2 Compatible Mouse" whichever choice appears in the list.
 7. Click on the "Driver" tab.
 8. Click on the "Update Driver..." button.
    The "Update Device Driver Wizard" runs.
 9. Click on "Next".
10. Click on "Display a list of the known drivers for this device so that
     I can choose a specific driver"
11. Click on "Next".
12. Click on "Have Disk".
13. Specify the directory X:\DATA\WIN2K\US\TRACKPOINT where the driver files are extracted.
    Then click on 'OK' button. Then driver list appears.
14. Click on "IBM PS/2 TrackPoint" in the list.
15. Click on "Next".
16. Click on "Next".
17. If you see the warning panel which asks if you want to replace
     the keyborad port driver(s) or not, press "Yes".
18. If you see the warning panel which asks if you want to install
     the software which doesn't have a Microsoft digital signature,
     press "Yes".
19. Click on "Finish" in the "Update Device Driver Wizard" window.
20. Click on "Close" in the "IBM PS/2 TrackPoint Properties" window.
21. Restart your computer to make the new settings effective.
