HOW TO INSTALL:

For both Windows 98 Gold and Second Edition in APM Mode

To Solve Intel 82371AB/EB PCI Bus Master IDE Controller conflict in Device Manager, 
Apply APM2APM.reg file onto both Windows 98 Gold and Second Edition.  
  
  1.Start Windows 98 Gold or Second Edition.
  2.Open Start menu -> Run...
  3.Click Run. "Run" window is opened.
  4.Type X:\DATA\WIN98\US\SUPPLEMENT DISK V\APM2APM\APM2APM.reg and click OK button.
     The following window is displayed.
    "Registry Editor" Are you sure you want to add the informaition
    X:\DATA\WIN98\US\SUPPLEMENT DISK V\apm2apm\apm2apm.reg to the registry ?
  7.Select "Yes"
    Successful window message is displayed.
  8.Select "OK"
  9.Open Device manager 
 10.Click [Refresh] button
 11.Check to see the Device Node of Hard Disk Controllers

How to apply IBMLCD Color Profile 
 
1. Click right button on desktop to open Display Properties tab
2. Select Settings tab
3. Click on Advanced...
4. Select Monitor tab and Change...
5. Click on Have Disk...
6. Specify the directory X:\DATA\WIN98\US\SUPPLEMENT DISK V where ibmtplcd.inf and ibmtplcd.icm files exist and then OK.
7. Select ibmtplcd.inf and then OK.
8. Select one panel in the list you are using now
9. Click on Apply
10. Select Color Management tab to make sure ibmtplcd.icm file is loaded.   
 

[INTELINF installer for Windows 98 Gold]
1. Install Windows 98 
2. Run setup.exe in X:\DATA\WIN98\US\SUPPLEMENT DISK V\INTELINF directory
3. Restart the system
4. Windows starts reenumerate the devices.
