HOW TO INSTALL:

I. Windows 98 Gold (4.10.1998) 

[QFE80404 (USB)] 
 How to Install:
 ---------------
1. Run the file 189591UP.EXE located in directory X:\DATA\WIN98\US\UPDATE MODULE\W98GOLD\QFE80404 
   to install the update.
2. Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.


[Q209321 (DBLBUF.SYS) ] 
 How to Install 
 --------------
 1.Run the Windows 98 Gold.
 2.Run 209321Up.exe. located in directory X:\DATA\WIN98\US\UPDATE MODULE\W98GOLD\Q209321 and you will be prompted
   for the install location where updated DBLBUFF.sys file should be copied.


[Q223809 (IFSMGR.VXD) ]  
 How to Install:
 ---------------
 1. Open DOS Box and change directory to C:\windows\system/vmm32 
 2. Rename the IFSMFR.VXD to IFSMGR__.$$$
 3. Copy IFSMGR.vxd from directory X:\DATA\WIN98\US\W98GOLD\Q223809 onto C:\windows\system\vmm32 
 4. Restart your computer to begin using the replaced IFSMGR.VXD driver.         

[Q233017 (PCI.VXD)] 

 
 1. Open 233017up.exe in W98Gold or W98SE folder located in direcotry
    X:\DATA\WIN98\US\W98GOLD\Q233017 according to the OS Version you use. 
 2. Double click and run 233017up.exe 
 3. Install Windows 98 PCI.VXD Update. Click Yes
 4. Click "Yes" to agree License Agreement
 5. Click "Yes" and Restart the system

1. Run 168115US.exe from directory X:\DATA\WIN98\US\UPDATE MODULE\W98GOLD\Q168115
2. Press [Yes] button to install Windows 98 Q168115 update. 

[Q238453]
1. Run 238453US.exe from directory X:\DATA\WIN98\US\UPDATE MODULE\W98GOLD\Q238453
2. Press [Yes] to install Windows 98 Q238453 Update
3. Press [Yes] to accept EULA(End User License Agreement)

1. Run TELNETUP.exe from directory X:\DATA\WIN98\US\UPDATE MODULE\W98GOLD\Q240163
2. Press [Yes] to install Windows 98 TELNET Update.
3. Press [Yes] to accept EULA(End User License Agreement)

1. Run 245729US.exe from directory X:\DATA\WIN98\US\UPDATE MODULE\W98GOLD\Q245729
2. Press [Yes] to install Windows 98 Q245729 Update.
3. Press [Yes] to accept EULA(End User License Agreement )
4. Press [Yes] to restart the system.    


II. Windows 98 Second Edition

[Q4756 (Win98SE Shutdown Update)]
 1. Open 4756US8.exe in X:\DATA\WIN98\US\UPDATE MODULE\W98SE\Q4756 directory
 2. Double click and run 4756US8.exe
 3. Follow the instruction of installer

[Q233017 (PCI.VXD)] 
 1. Open 233017up.exe in W98Gold or W98SE folder located in direcotry
    X:\DATA\WIN98\US\UPDATE MODULE according to the OS Version you use. 
 2. Double click and run 233017up.exe 
 3. Install Windows 98 PCI.VXD Update. Click Yes
 4. Click "Yes" to agree License Agreement
 5. Click "Yes" and Restart the system

1. Run 168115US.exe from directory X:\DATA\WIN98\US\UPDATE MODULE\W98GOLD\Q168115
2. Press [Yes] button to install Windows 98 Q168115 update.

1. Run 238453US.exe from directory X:\DATA\WIN98\US\UPDATE MODULE\W98SE\Q238453
2. Press [Yes] to install Windows 98 Q238453 Update
3. Press [Yes] to accept EULA(End User License Agreement)

 1. Open 240947up.exe in X:\DATA\WIN98\US\UPDATE MDOULE\W98SE\Q240947 directory
 2. Double click and run 240947up.exe
 3. Follow the instruction of installer

For Windows 98 Second Edition ACPI Clean install use only 
You should copy acpi.sys from directory X:\DATA\WIN98\US\UPDATE MDOULE\W98SE\Q240149
to the directory that all cabinets file and necessary files are copied in HDD.
Refer to Windows 98 Supplement File Package associated with your system.

2. Press [Yes] to install Windows 98 Q243199 Update
3. Press [Yes] to accept EULA(End User License Agreement)
