Initial use

1. Shut your computer down and switch it off before connecting the ELSA 3D REVELATOR.

2. Connect the cable adapter for the ELSA 3D REVELATOR directly to your graphics board. Please do not use an extension cable between the graphics board and adapter cable.

3. If you are using a 3Dfx Voodoo Graphics or Voodoo 2-based accelerator with a loop-through cable, disconnect the 3Dfx board before using the ELSA 3D REVELATOR. Connect the monitor directly to the graphics board via the ELSA 3D REVELATOR cable adapter. Also disable DirectX support for the 3Dfx Voodoo board under Display Properties.

4. Ensure that your monitor is capable of delivering —and is set to—a refresh rate of at least 100 Hz. We recommend a refresh rate of 120 Hz, as that is the minimum rate for a pleasant 3D effect. The picture will flicker strongly at lower refresh rates.
