Flickering or flashing when booting or during game

Check the following points to suppress flicker:

1. Joystick setup

Start->Settings->Control Panel->Game Controllers->Advanced->'Poll with interrupts enabled' enable/disable

2. Check the monitor connection

The use of a VGA connector cable for the BNC input of the monitor or an S-VGA extension cable for the Sub-D connector of the monitor (without DDC lines pins 12 and 15) generally eliminates the problem.

3. Is a different device blocking the interrupt control?

Does the flicker also occur if no other expansion boards are installed? Please ensure that current drivers are installed for all expansion boards such as sound cards, ISDN controllers or SCSI adapters. When using E-IDE hard drives or ATAPI CD/DVD drives, ensure that DMA transfer is enabled.

4. Vertical synchronization must be enabled.

In the advanced settings of the 'Display Properties' under 'ELSA 3D Settings', ensure that the item 'Do not wait for V-Sync' is disabled.
