Question: Why won't my cell phone connect in Windows 98?

Answer: Windows 98 Advanced Power Management on some laptops interferes with cell phone use. If you have set the cell phone driver and are not able to connect, contact your laptop manufacturer for assistance in disabling Advanced Power Management.
