These disks are the nearly-forgotten Geoworks Pro (Ensemble 1.2). All of the 1.x releases are significant in that they run on ANY PC as long as you have a graphics card, a 10MB hard drive, a mouse, and 512K RAM. The installation disks **DO** look at volume label to determine which disk is in the drive, so be sure to pkunzip with the proper switch to reconstruct the volume label. The "installed" .rar archive is what is written to the hard drive after setup has completed, but before it has been run for the first time. This may help people who want to run it on systems without floppy drives. This particular installation was done to the J:\GEOWORKS drive\directory but I don't believe the pathname is embedded anywhere in the config files or executable, so the actual drive shouldn't matter. --trixter@oldskool.org
