A.The purpose of then program
SuperCool Zip Backup is a data backup utility. You can use any drive (hard disk,network,CD-RW,CD-R,Jaz,Zip,floppy etc.) in your system to store the backup files in standard Zip format,and backup files can be transferred to remote machine by FTP or Email as well. Features are:
1 .Easy to use Interface for simple creation and maintenance of tasks.
2. Backup files can be stored in standard Zip format, so they can be operated with any Zip compression tool (e.g.WinZip).
3. Supports inclusion and exclusion of files by wildcard mask as well as by exact file name. So new files, matching an entered mask, will be included to or excluded from new backups without any care.
4. Supports backuping files newer then specified date-time only.
5. Supports FTP,all types of LANs and UNC file path names (Network folder selection dialog).
6. Filename can be auto created for every backup. A maximum backup versions number can be set, the extra oldest backup versions can be auto deleted .
7. Support disk spanning,span backup files across multiple removable disks.
8. Synchronize files between two (or more) PCs.Simply export backup file to a removable media,bring it to another PC and import the backup on this PC.
9. Automatic scheduled backups with complete scheduling options.
10. Easy to browse,add and delete files in Zip backup archives.
11. Backup files can be protected with password.
12. Comment can be added to backup files.
