[Note:  This patch is for Tandy GW-BASIC v1.1, which came with the 1000A.]

The patch listed below fixes the problem of not having any
sound. This patch was obtained from a RS Repair center after
many frustrating phone calls to find out why the SOUND function
did't function as it was suppose to. I hope to save anyone out
there with the same problem, from the frustration I went through.
Here's the patch:
A>RENAME BASIC.EXE BASIC.TMP
DEBUG BASIC.TMP
-E 6AA9 74

-Q
A>RENAME BASIC.TMP BASIC.EXE
Be certain that you type this in exactly as you see it here,
spaces are critical.
I installed this patch successfully, it does work.
