4850 EP (250-5143) Front Panel Faxback Doc. # 1028 The front panel of the computer has a power indicator light, a power button, a diskette eject button, a diskette drive activity light, and a RESET button. The 3 1/2" diskette drive is accessible from the front of the computer. The diskette drive activity light and diskette eject button are also on the front panel. POWER INDICATOR LIGHT--Indicates that the computer is turned on. POWER BUTTON--Turns the computer on and off. DISKETTE EJECT BUTTON--Ejects the diskette from the drive. DISKETTE DRIVE ACTIVITY LIGHT--Indicates that the diskette drive is reading from or writing to a diskette. Never remove a diskette when this light is on. CAUTION: A drive's activity light comes on when the computer is accessing that drive. Removing the diskette from the drive while this light is on can destroy the data on the diskette. RESET BUTTON--Restarts the computer; functions almost as if you turned off the computer and then turned it on again. (smm 08/05/93)
