SETUP PROGRAM DEFAULTS

Page 30 of your Tandy 3830 SL Computer User's Guide lists the default sett-
ings for the computer's setup program (Setup383). Two of these default 
settings are incorrect. The correct default setting for FDC (Floppy Disk 
Controller) Standby is ON, not OFF. The correct default setting for the 
Standby Mode timeout is 04 MIN, not 00 Min.

AMERICA ONLINE

Your Tandy 3830 SL Notebook Computer comes with America Online installed on 
the hard disk. To load America Online, type aol at the MS-DOS prompt and 
press ENTER.
