Lithium/CMOS RAM Battery Replacement for the 1000RL/HD (25-1451) is 
(23-162), which can be obtained at the Radio Shack Store.

CAUTION: Improper handling of this special lithium battery can be hazardous.
Never recharge, disassemble, or heat the battery above 100øC (or 212øF). 
Never solder directly to the battery or expose the contents of the battery
to water.

The Smartwatch in the 1000RL/HD (25-1451) is a battery-backed memory chip 
that contains date and time information. If you have a 1000RL/HD you will 
need to replace the SmartWatch (CMOS RAM) battery. It should last at least 
3 years with normal use. When it fails, the time and date information is 
displayed inaccurately.

Note: Refer to Faxback Doc. # 1375 for installation location on the Main 
Logic Board.

Smartwatch (25-1033)for the 1000RL floppy (25-1450):

Socket location U28 is used for the SmartWatch (25-1033) in the RL Floppy
version.
