The Tandy 4016 SX delivers total IBM PC/XT/AT compatibility in a
high-performance environment. Featuring a 16 MHz Intel 80386SX
microprocessor, this computer enables you to run the  latest 386 software
packages and to add popular, industry-standard expansion options. Many
advanced features are standard on the Tandy 4016 SX. These features, as well
as available options, are listed below.

* 16 MHz Intel 80386SX microprocessor--Gives you true Intel 80386 processing
  power. The 80386SX microprocessor is a 32-bit CPU.
* Full IBM PC/XT/AT compatibility--Ensures compatibility with hardware and
  software built to the IBM standard for PC/XT/AT and 80386 computers.
* MS-DOS, MS OS/2, and XENIX compatibility--Lets you choose the operating
  system that best supports your software.
* 101-key enhanced keyboard--Provides easy typing with a standard 101-key
  layout. Features auto-repeat to reduce the number of multiple keystrokes.
* High-capacity (1.44MB), 3-inch diskette drive--Enables you to read and
  write both standard-density (720KB) and high-density (1.44MB), 3-inch
  diskettes. A high-density, 3-inch high-density, 3-inch diskette stores a
  large volume of information and easily fits into your pocket.
* Three disk drive bays--Enable you to install storage devices such as hard
  drives, diskette drives, or tape cartridge systems. The two upper bays are
  for low-profile (one-inch high), 3-inch devices. The 3-inch diskette drive
  is installed in one of these bays. The Three 16-bit standard expansion
  slots Permit installation of up to three 16-bit adapters. These are full-
  sized, 13-inch slots. Sixteen-bit adapters have a higher data transfer
  rate than 8-bit adapters.
* On-board VGA-compatible video--Provides higher resolution and many more
  colors than an EGA adapter. Emulates the MCGA, EGA, CGA, MDA, and Hercules
  standards. Requires a VGA analog monitor (color or monochrome).
* 1MB of high-speed RAM, upgradable to as much as 4MB--Enables you to use
  CAD/CAM, database, desktop publishing, and other sophisticated application
  programs. You can upgrade this memory by replacing the SIMMs on the main
  logic board.
* Built-in diskette drive controller--Saves you the cost of a diskette
  controller board and the use of a 16-bit slot when you add diskette drives
  to your system.
* Built-in 16-bit SmartDrive connector--Enables you to add up to two
  SmartDrives to your system. SmartDrives operate like ST-506 hard drives
  but contain built-in control logic.
* Built-in PS/2-style mouse port Saves you the cost of a PS/2- style mouse
  board and the use of a 16-bit slot.
* Built-in serial port Saves you the cost of a serial expansion adapter and
  the use of a 16-bit slot when you connect a serial device such as a serial
  mouse or an external modem.
* Built-in parallel port--Saves you the cost of a parallel expansion adapter
  and the use of a 16-bit slot when you connect a parallel printer or other
  parallel device.
* Battery-backed internal clock--Keeps the computer's clock running and
  maintains the Setup information, even when the computer is turned off.
* Keylock--Locks the expansion adapter cover and carriage to protect against
  unauthorized removal of system components. The keylock is located under
  the outer cover of the system unit.
