The original Setup program was included on the 3000 HL Utilities disk.
An updated version of setup was included with MS-DOS version 3.30.

Note: To determine which version of the setup Utilities you are running,
check to see if the option for a 1.44 meg floppy is available. The original
setup version did not have this option.

To start Setup simply type "setup", then press <ENTER>.

The screen will display:

This program is used to store system configuration information into battery
backed memory in your computer. It is necessary to run this program when
any memory, disk drives, or monitors are added to or removed from your
system, or to set the battery maintained time or dated.
