The Tandy 4033 LX delivers total IBM PC/XT/AT compatibility in a high-
performance environment. Featuring a 33 MHz Intel 80386 microprocessor,
this computer enables you to run the latest 386 software packages and
add popular, industry-standard expansion options.

Many advanced features are standard on the Tandy 4033 LX. These
features, as well as available options, are listed below.

33 MHz  Intel 80386 microprocessor
  Gives you true Intel 80386 processing power. The 80386 microprocessor
  is   a 32-bit CPU.

Full IBM PC/XT/AT compatibility
  Ensures compatibility with hardware and software built to the IBM
  standard for PC/XT/AT and 80386 computers.

MS-DOS, MS OS/2, and XENIX  compatibility
  Lets you choose the operating system that best supports your software.

101-key enhanced keyboard
  Provides easy typing with a standard 101-key layout. Features
  auto-repeat to reduce the number of multiple keystrokes.

High-capacity (1.44MB),  3«-inch diskette drive
  Enables you to read and write both standard-density (720KB) and
  high-density (1.44MB), 3«-inch diskettes. A high-density, 3«-inch
  diskette lets you store a large volume of information on a diskette
  that easily fits into your pocket.

Four disk drive bays
  Enable your system to have as many as two diskette drives and two hard
  disk drives.  

Six 16-bit  standard expansion slots (four full-sized, two half-sized)
  Permit installation of 8-bit or 16-bit adapters.  The computer includes
  six expansion slots, one of which is occupied by the VGA video adapter.
  Sixteen-bit adapters have a higher data transfer rate than 8-bit adapters.

16-bit VGA video expansion adapter
  Provides support for up to 256 colors.  Depending on the number of colors
  used, supports screen resolution up to 640 X 480.  Also supports 132-
  column text modes and can emulate the MCGA, EGA, CGA, MDA, and Hercules
  standards.  Requires a VGA analog monitor (color or monochrome).

2MB of  high-speed, page-mode memory, upgradable to as much as 16MB
  Enables you to use CAD/ CAM, database, desktop publishing, and other
  sophisticated application programs. Memory upgrades use the high-
  speed, 32-bit memory expansion slots and/or the 16-bit standard
  expansion slots.

Two 32-bit memory expansion slots
  Permit installation of 32-bit memory expansion adapters. A memory
  adapter is already installed in one slot.

32-bit expansion adapter
  Provides access to high-speed, 32-bit memory and enables memory
  expansion up to 8MB with optional memory upgrade kits. A second memory
  expansion adapter is available.

Built-in diskette drive controller
  Saves you the cost of a diskette controller board and the use of a
  16-bit slot when you add diskette drives to your system.

Built-in 16-bit Integrated Drive Electronics (IDE) connector
  Saves you the cost of an IDE board and the use of a 16-bit slot when
  you hook up IDE hard drives to your system.  These operate like ST-506
  hard drives but contain built-in control logic and are easier to
  install.

Built-in PS/2-style mouse port
  Saves you the cost of a PS/2- style mouse board and the use of a 16-
  bit slot.

Built-in serial port
  Saves you the cost of a serial expansion adapter and the use of a 16-
  bit slot when you connect a serial device such as a serial mouse or an
  external modem.

Built-in parallel port
  Saves you the cost of a parallel expansion adapter and the use of a
  16-bit slot when you connect a parallel printer.

Battery-backed internal clock
  Keeps the computer's clock running and maintains the Setup
  information, even when the computer is turned off.

200-watt power supply
  Provides controlled power and added system protection during periods
  of high power use.

Keylock
  Secures the computer's cover to the frame.
