To do this, follow these steps: Note: These instructions are also found in the README file on the Utilities Disk. 1. Change to the \WINDOWS subdirectory. 2. From the MS-DOS command line, type setup and press . 3. When the Windows SETUP program appears, select the Display field, and press . 4. Select Other from the list, and press . 5. Insert the Utilities diskette into Drive A. When Window prompts you for the hardware manufacturer's video driver, type: a:\win31 . The following video options are displayed: AVGA2 1024X768, 16 colors (1,2) AVGA2 640x480, 256 colors (2) AVGA2 800x600, 16 colors (1) AVGA2 800x600, 256 colors (1,2) (1) Requires a multiple-frequency monitor. (2) Requires additional video memory. Select one of these options and press . Press again to accept the changes. Windows setup prompts you to enter various Windows 3.1 diskettes. Insert the appropriate diskettes. After Windows setup prompts you for the Utilities diskette, insert disk and type: a:\wind31 . Windows runs in the selected resolution. Note: If you want to change the resolution again, you can use the Windows SETUP icon to run SETUP from Windows instead of running it from MS-DOS.
