Accelerator Adapter


Windows, OS/2 Versions 1.2 and 1.3, and many MS-DOS-based applications
require that you install software drivers in order to take advantage of your
new SVGA adapter's features. Several such drivers are supplied on the
diskettes packaged with the adapter.

This section describes how to install these drivers. It also provides
information on installing VGAMODE.EXE, the utility that enables you to
switch video modes.

Readme Files:

README.TXT files on the MS-DOS and Windows drivers diskettes provide
additional information about the drivers. Read the applicable README.TXT
file and this manual before installing any MS-DOS or Windows software driver.

To display the README.TXT file on the MS-DOS Application Drivers Diskette or
the Windows Drivers Diskette, insert that diskette into Drive A and type the
following commands at the operating system prompt:

a: <ENTER>

readme <ENTER>

To print either of these README.TXT files, insert the diskette into Drive A
and type the following commands at the prompt:

a: <ENTER>

printme <ENTER>

The README.TXT file on the OS/2 Drivers Diskette repeats the OS/2 driver
installation procedure presented in this section. You can use the OS/2
system editor to display this file.
