(You will still only be able to send faxes.) You should have no difficulty sending high-quality faxes directly from any Windows application, as long as the Default Printer is set as PHOENIXFAX on COM2:. To set the PhoenixFAX driver, use the following procedure. 1. Go to Windows Program Manager. 2. Double click on the "Control Panel." 3. Double click on "Printers." 4. Highlight the driver "PhoenixFAX on COM 2" 5. Click on "Set as Default printer" and "Close." Now that the PhoenixFAX driver is set, whenever you print from any Windows word processor the following will appear. 6. A box named "Print a Fax" will appear. 7. Select "Recipient" 8. Choose a name in the Address box or if there are none listed click on "Add" and add in an address. After you have selected the name click on the "Copy" button. The name will move over to the Recipient box. 9. Hit the "OK" button to transmit fax.
