SENSATION! (250-1650) Adding a Sound Card Faxback Doc. # 2630 Adding An Additional Sound Card You will find below two different set of instructions for installing the optional Sound Blaster Board. Choose the option that fits the port address you will be using in your setup of the board. If you add a Sound Blaster Pro or compatible board all functions will work except: * Phone Center will not function with an additional sound card installed. * The text-to-speech does not work consistently. In WinMate, if you click on the "Speak Text" option, it does. It then gets caught in a loop so that, if you choose to print, it speaks the text while printing. Every time you execute a new function, it speaks the text. Port 220 installation for Sound Blaster Pro or compatibles. This installation method is recommended.
